Explore the Toledo Zoo with a Zoo Educator while completing requirements needed to earn your animal related Badges and Adventures! Programs are available for groups of Girl Scouts or Cub Scouts. All programs are 2 hours long and will feature live animal demos and at exhibit lessons.

Badges for Girl Scouts

• Daisy: Eco Learner and Rose Petal (both covered in one program)

• Brownie: Eco Friend and Bugs (both covered in one program) or Pets and Senses (both covered in one program)

• Juniors: Animal Habitats or Journey: Think like a Citizen Scientist

• Cadette: Animal Helper

• Senior: Eco Explorer or Voice for the Animals

Adventures for Cub Scouts

• Lions: Ready, Set, Grow, and Rumble in the Jungle (both covered in one program)

• Tigers: Tigers in the Wild and My Tiger Jungle (both covered in one program)

• Wolves: Howling at the Moon or Digging in the Past

• Bears: Fur, Feathers, Ferns or Critter Care

• Webelos: Into the Wild

Group size is limited to 15 scouts and total group size cannot exceed 35. Please note that materials will be provided only for participating scouts.

Cost: $50 per program

Times: 1:00 pm

This program will start and end at the Zoo entrance, entry to the Zoo before or after will require admission

Explore the Toledo Zoo Aquarium with a trained Scouts BSA Merit Badge Counselor while completing the requirements for the Oceanography Badge. This three-hour session covers all of the requirements needed. The badge is not included in the cost.

Please note that materials will be provided only for participating scouts.

Cost: $12 for members and $18 for non-members

Times: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

This program includes admission for the scout for the rest of the day.
